Abstract:Three batches of tungsten powder from different manufacturers were used to prepare copper infiltrat‐
ed tungsten material by sintering-infiltration method. The density, metallographic structure and fracture morphol‐
ogy of the material were analyzed. The tensile strength at different temperatures was tested. The batch stability
of high temperature copper infiltrated tungsten materials were comparatively studied. The results show that the
three batches of materials have the same sintering performance and good uniformity of copper infiltration. The
structure, the grain size and the fracture morphology are similar, and there is basically no difference. The tensile
strength at different temperature points crosses each other and has a consistent trend without obvious difference.
The methods and suggestions for raw material supplier selection and quality control in the batch production of
tungsten copper infiltration materials are put forward.
