Abstract:The boron-doped diamond (BDD) electrodes have been attracting much attention not only in electrochemistry, but also in fields such as functional materials, analytical chemistry, environmental science, biomedical or biological science, because of their superior properties such as high chemical stability, wide potential window, low background currents and an inert surface with low adsorption. The main preparation methods and basic properties of BDD electrodes were discussed, and surface modification strategies for BDD electrodes were also summarized.
