Abstract:A series of Mn-Ce/AC catalysts were prepared by impregnation method, and their properties were investigated by changing the ratio of Mn/Ce. Thermogravimetric analysis, BET and XRD were used to determine the weight loss curves, physical properties and crystalline forms of the catalysts, in order to find the catalyst with the best ratio of active Mn/Ce. The results show that the hydrophilicity of activated carbon increased and the weight loss percentage increased with the addition of Mn-Ce mixture; the addition of Ce could reduce the aggregation of MnOx on activated carbon; when Mn/Ce was 0.5, the catalytic performance was the best, reaching 90.4%.
