Abstract:In order to study the adjustability of thermal expansion coefficient, permeability and strength of materi‐
als for gyro rotor, tungsten alloy 95WNiCu has been selected as research object. A series of experiments were car‐
ried out on properties and microstructure of 95WNiCu with different Ni/Cu ratios. The results show that the me‐
chanical property of material deteriorates with the decreasing of Ni/Cu ratio, and when the Ni/Cu ratio is below 1,
material tensile strength is extremely low, elongation almost disappears. At the same time, the linear expansion co‐
efficients and mass susceptibilities gradually reduce, microstructures have no obvious difference, but fractures ex‐
hibit less bonding phase. When the Ni/Cu ratio is less than 1, bonding phase tend to disappeared and fracture mode
occupies by low-strength W-W interface separation.
