Abstract:By analyzing the deficiencies of the reduction furnace’s combustion supporting system device, the method which can improve the temperature of combustion supporting gas was proposed and put into force. By this method, combustion supporting gas pipe of reduction furnace was forced into fume exhaust ductwork, and the heat of flue gas was used for warming up the combustion supporting gas. Also the principle of shell and tube heat exchange was applied. By using this method, reduction furnace can save much coke oven gas and the annual saving is equal to 350 tons of standard coal.
