SiC晶须含量对镁基复合材料性能影响的研究

Abstract Magnesium matrix composite material was prepared using pressure sintering. The effect of different content of SiC whisker on the density， hardness， tensile strength， compressive strength， friction and wear properties of the composite was studied. Results show that the density of magnesium matrix composites does not change regularly with the SiC whisker content changes， and the hardness increases with the SiC whisker content increasing. Compared with the matrix alloy ZK60， the properties of the composite material adding SiC whisker have been improved， including tensile strength， compressive strength， elastic modulus， compression modulus and elongation. The composite has the best mechanical properties at room temperature when the mass fraction of SiC whisker is 20.0%. Based on the analysis of the wear rate changes of sintered material， it is concluded that the friction and wear properties are best when the mass fraction of SiC whisker is 10.0%. Generally， the toughening and strengthening effect is the best when the mass fraction of SiC whisker is 15.0%.
