Abstract China is the world's largest producer of copper-based powders. It has reached or surpassed other developed
countries in terms of technology. The development of copper-based powder industry, technology and application
in China, including electrolytic copper powder, atomizing copper and copper alloy powder, diffusion and bonding
powder, coating powder, ultrafine copper-based alloy powder, ultrafine and nano powder, copper powder for additive
manufacturing were introduced. Also, the development directions of copper-based industrial technology and
equipment, copper-based powder multi-element complex powder, ultrafine and nano powder, spherical powder for
additive manufacturing, and the development directions and applications were presented.
