LIU Guo-hui, SONG Peng, WU Cheng, QIN Si-gui, GONG Yan-fei, ZHAO Si-xiang, WANG Cheng-yang
DOI: 10.13228/j.boyuan.issn1006-6543.20140036
The tungsten powder with 99.95wt% purity was pressed by CIP method and sintered at 1 800~2 300 ℃ in H2 atmosphere. The sintered tungsten billet was rolled 4 passes at 1 250~1 500 ℃, the tungsten plate with density close to theoretical value was achieved. The texture evolution of tungsten plate during the annealing process was observed by electron backscattered diffraction (EBSD) analysis. High temperature tensile strength and Vickers hardness of the tungsten plate were also tested to investigate the microstructure and properties development during the annealing process. The results show that the tungsten grain stretches along the rolling direction obviously after rolling process and there is no obvious texture change when annealed at 1 150 ℃ and 1 250 ℃ for 10 min. The deformation texture of tungsten plate is decreased and the tungsten grain orientation tends to be random after annealed at 1 350 ℃. The recrystallization ratio of tungsten grain is 65.8% calculated by statistical analysis of the area fraction. The high temperature tensile strength and Vickers hardness decrease with the annealing temperature increasing from 1 150 ℃ to 1 350 ℃. The high temperature tensile strength at 1 000 ℃ is 485 MPa and 356 MPa, respectively. The Vickers hardness is 430 HV and 410 HV, respectively.

DOI: 10.13228/j.boyuan.issn1006-6543.20140006
Ti-6Al-4V alloy with different Cr content was prepared by the method of cold isostatic pressing and vacuum sintering. The effect of Cr addition on the microstructure and mechanical properties of Ti-6Al-4V alloy was investigated using optical microscope, mechanical properties testing and scanning electron microscope. The results show that the compound TiCr2 does not appear in the alloy after adding Cr element, and the alloy is composed of (α+β) phase, which belongs to widmanstatten structure. The addition of Cr element makes the relative density of the alloy decrease and the compressive strength increase. The compressive strength of the alloy is 1 855 MPa when Cr content is 4wt%. The fracture mode of alloy is ductile fracture when Cr content is 1wt% and 2wt%; while the fracture mode turns to dissociative fracture when Cr content is 3wt% and 4wt%.

ZHANG Guo-xing, JIA Jian,, TAO Yu
DOI: 10.13228/j.boyuan.issn1006-6543.20140002
The hot deformation behavior of as-HIPed PM superalloy FGH98 in the temperature range of 1 050-1 150 ℃ and strain rate range of 0.005~1.000 s-1 was investigated by using isothermal constant strain rate compressing tests. The powder was prepared with different atomization methods. On the basis of dynamic material modeling, processing maps for the two atomized billet were established. The results show that the rheological curves of the two kinds of billets are similar. Under the same deformation condition, the peak stress of argon gas atomization (AA) powder billet is lower than that of plasma rotating electrode process (PREP) powder billet. The optimum deformation window for AA powder billet is 1 088-1 108 ℃/0.005-0.016 s-1, the efficiency of power dissipation [η] is higher than 42%. But the optimum deformation window for PREP powder billet is 1 098-1 120 ℃/0.010-0.016 s-1, [η] is higher than 40%.

WANG Hao,, YANG Jun-jun,, LIU Guan-ying,, WANG Fan,
DOI: 10.13228/j.boyuan.issn1006-6543.20140016
With the rapid development of cleaning coal technology, more and more attention has been paid on the filtration technology and material in high temperature H2S environment. The mass and permeability change were tested for Fe3Al and stainless steel porous material in H2S environment. The results show that Fe3Al material has excellent corrosion resistance under 2vol% H2S content, while stainless steel porous material has worse corrosion resistance due to the blocked pore structure caused by corrosion product after 1 500 h experiment. Energy spectrum analysis and X-ray diffraction results show that the corrosion products containing sulfur does not form on the surface of Fe3Al, while the corrosion products based on FeS form on the surface of 316L stainless steel.

DOI: 10.13228/j.boyuan.issn1006-6543.20140038
The Co-Mn composite material with excellent microstructure was prepared by the method of spark plasma sintering (SPS) at 800 ℃/45 MPa for 32 min. Morphology and characteristics of the material were discussed. Furthermore, the fitting degree of the SPS theory and actual process combined with the problem of fuse zone and sintering hole defects were analyzed, which was related to theories of molecule kinetics. It aims at optimizing the SPS procedure for Co-Mn composite material preparation and promoting the application of SPS theory in practical production.

DOI: 10.13228/j.boyuan.issn1006-6543.20130115
SiC particles were pretreated by high temperature roasting and water washing process. SiCp/Al-25Si composite was prepared by vacuum hot pressing. The microstructure and tensile strength of the composite with pretreated or original SiC particles were studied. The results show that the SiCp/Al-25Si composite with pretreated SiC particles has higher interface bonding strength, less pores, and much higher relative density and tensile strength.

LIU Jian, XUAN Tian-peng, DAI Ze-yu, YUAN Chun
DOI: 10.13228/j.boyuan.issn1006-6543.20140040
Fe-Cu-C vavle guide was prepared by powder metallurgy with two common sintering temperatures, and the microstructure, density, hardness and crushing strength of the samples were tested. The results show that decarburization at high temperature zone is more serious for the samples sintered at 1 150 ℃ compared to the samples sintered at 1 120 ℃, and the pearlite amount and hardness also decrease when sintered at 1 150 ℃. Furthermore, high temperature accelerates the diffusion of copper, leading to increased porosity and decreased density. In consideration of microstructure, properties and production costs, 1 120 ℃ is the suitable sintering temperature.

63 Powder metallurgy die design for timing pulley
YAN Min
DOI: 10.13228/j.boyuan.issn1006-6543.20140051
Based on the structure features of timing pulley, the powder metallurgy die structure was designed and its working principle was discussed. The timing pulley had the characteristics of center hole, inside and outside steps, so the compensation method was adopted for powder filling, and floating pressing, liftout demoulding with assistant cylinder were also employed. The practice had proved that the die structure is reasonable, product quality is reliable and effect is good. Because there are inner steps within the female die, it requires stable loose density for the powder.
