Abstract:Bulk amorphous rods of Fe74Al4Sn2P10Si4B4C2 alloy with diameter of 1.0mm, 1.5mm and 2.0mm were prepared by water-cooled copper mold method. The magnetic properties of the rods were measured by vibrating sample magnetometer, which showed high saturation magnetic induction and low coercive force. Bulk amorphous tube (5 mm×7 mm×15 mm) of Fe74Al4Sn2P10Si4B4C2 alloy was also prepared by water-cooled copper mold method, which showed similar thermal properties with bulk amorphous rods. It was indicated that Fe74Al4Sn2P10Si4B4C2 alloy had good castability.
