Abstract:Internal friction instrument was used to investigate internal friction- temperature curve(Q-1- T)and relative modulus- temperature curve(M- T)at 5 frequencies for Cu38Zr46Al8Ag8 bulk amorphous alloys annealed with different isothermal aging treatment. It is found that and the sample of the temperature of the Q-1 peak without isothermal aging treatment is higher than the others;under the same aging treatment temperature, the Q-1 peak and the corresponding temperature are dwindling with the increase of aging treatment time;under the same aging treatment time,the temperature of the Q-1 peak is dwindling with the increase of isothermal aging temperature. The effects of isothermal aging treatment on internal friction are analyzed in terms of theory of structural relaxation.
