Abstract:The microstructure of alloy 690 tube have been analysed by the method of metalloscope and SEM, and the stress corrosion behavior of alloy 690 tube performed in NaOH solution by using constant loading method The results showed that the microstructure of the equiaxed austenitic grain appeared in alloy 690 tube and the continuous compacted carbide were precipitated on the grain boundary The surface corrosion morphology indicated that the corrosion ravines were deposited on the exterior surface and crystal lattice mesh existed in the interior surface The corrosion products were mainly composed of the oxide of Cr、Ni 、Fe and during 1 000 h testing in NaOH solution, the stress corrosion cracking did not appear in alloy 690 tube except for general intergranular corrosion The result expressed that alloy 690 tube possessed an excellent resistance to stress corrosion in NaOH solution.
