Abstract：The reason for this article's impact on converter steel consumption in Honggang Steelmaking Plant is mainly from theoretical analysis, and discusses the impact of steel consumption on operation level, raw material quality, production organization, billet quality, etc. According to the analysis of the impact reasons, effective process improvement measures were proposed. The consumption of steel materials in the first quarter of 2020 was 1084 kg / t, which was 11 kg / t lower than last year, effectively reducing the cost of steelmaking production.
