Abstract:Abstract: In this study, using γ-Al2O3 as the carrier and the cerium-zirconium solid solution CexZryO2 (x + y = 1) as the auxiliary agent, the Pt and Pd-loaded diesel oxidation catalyst Pt-Pd/CexZryO2-Al2O3 was prepared by the impregnation method. Under the same Pt/Pd ratio and loading, CexZryO2 and γ-Al2O3 ratio, the catalytic oxidation effect on the CO, C3H6 and NO2 of DOC catalyst was investigated which prepared by CexZryO2 with different Ce/Zr ratio x/y. The experimental results show that low ratio of Zr in CeZrO2 does not conducive to catalytic activity. When the ratio of Ce to Zr is 4:6, the catalyst performance is improved. The samples were characterized by BET, XRD, and TPR , then it was found solid solution had little effect on the specific surface of the catalyst, however high Zr content was beneficial to the crystal surface dispersion and reduction of precious metals.
