Abstract:The running deviation of the strip during strip rolling process will directly affect the quality of the strip product、damage the stability of the rolling process. in order to predict the direction of strip deviation and regulate Early, The method which uses the running deviation factor parameter to discriminate the deviation is given based on the changes of the cross-section profile and size of the rolled piece during strip rolling process, established the deviation model of the strip. This paper uses Finite element method to simulation calculate and uses the production data to validate the running deviation factor, Both the Simulation results and field results are the same with prediction direction of deviation factor, proving that the method proposed above is feasible.
