Abstract:Abstract: This study is based on the hot rolling parameters and flatness monitoring of 1100MPa grade steel plates in a certain factory. It was found that the mechanism of edge waves in the inner ring of the hot rolled coil is the formation of a large amount of bainite in the inner ring, which leads to phase transformation expansion and edge waves. The above conclusion was verified through simulation calculations and metallographic observations. By increasing the convexity value of the intermediate billet (10%~15%) and improving the roll shifting strategy of the rear frame, the slope of the proportional convexity curve is less than 0, achieving rolling middle wave control, suppressing edge waves, and significantly improving the pass rate.
