Study on Magnetic Properties of Laminated Amorphous Core |

Abstract A Laminated core and a coiled core were made the same size by amorphous ribbon Fe91. 7Si5. 3B3. 0. The magnetic properties were examined and compared. The results showed that saturation magnetic induction of laminated core was lower than coiled core when the frequency was lower. However, it became higher when the frequency increased. For the coercivity and magnetic permeability, the laminated core always had advantage over the coiled core. The radial stress was brought in the coiled core, which resulted in the differences between the two kinds of cores. Therefore, radial stress played an important part in the magnetic properties of cores.
