Abstract Influence of annealing temperature on structure and high frequency magnetic properties of nanocrystalline(Fe0. 5Co0. 5)78. 4Si9B9Nb2. 6Cu1soft magnetic alloy was investigated. Results indicated that, annealed above the initial crystallized temperature 455 ℃,the amorphous (Fe0. 5Co0. 5)78. 4Si9B9Nb2. 6Cu1alloy was crystallized and α-FeCo phase was precipitated from the amorphous matrix. With the increasing of annealing temperature anordered (Fe,Co)3Siphase was formed. When the annealing temperature is above 620 ℃, the boride hard magnetic phase was detected. The highest initial permeability at the frequency of 50 Hz was 23000 for the alloy annealed at 490 ℃, and the corresponding diameter of crystalline is 19. 4 nm. An relaxed permeability-frequency spectra was observed in the frequency ranges of 100 kHz-10 MHz, and with increasing of annealing temperature from 490 ℃ to 610 ℃, the complex permeability was deteriorated slightly but the cut-off frequency fr was enhanced from 3. 14 to 5. 64 MHz which is much higher than that of Fe-based nanoceystalline soft magnetic alloys.
