Abstract:The tungsten powder with 99.95wt% purity was pressed by CIP method and sintered at 1 800~2 300 ℃ in H2 atmosphere. The sintered tungsten billet was rolled 4 passes at 1 250~1 500 ℃, the tungsten plate with density close to theoretical value was achieved. The texture evolution of tungsten plate during the annealing process was observed by electron backscattered diffraction (EBSD) analysis. High temperature tensile strength and Vickers hardness of the tungsten plate were also tested to investigate the microstructure and properties development during the annealing process. The results show that the tungsten grain stretches along the rolling direction obviously after rolling process and there is no obvious texture change when annealed at 1 150 ℃ and 1 250 ℃ for 10 min. The deformation texture of tungsten plate is decreased and the tungsten grain orientation tends to be random after annealed at 1 350 ℃. The recrystallization ratio of tungsten grain is 65.8% calculated by statistical analysis of the area fraction. The high temperature tensile strength and Vickers hardness decrease with the annealing temperature increasing from 1 150 ℃ to 1 350 ℃. The high temperature tensile strength at 1 000 ℃ is 485 MPa and 356 MPa, respectively. The Vickers hardness is 430 HV and 410 HV, respectively.
