Abstract:The nanodiamond particles,due to their superior properties such as superhardness,large specific surface area,
high chemical inertness,facile surface functionalization and low toxicity,can be widely applied in many fields,including
lapping,polishing,composites,nano lubrication,bio-medicine,quantum optics,quantum information and nano
sensor,which have been attracting much attention throughout the world. In this paper,the synthesis methods of nanodiamond
particles were mainly introduced and classified into dynamic and static synthesis according to their synthesis
processes.
