Abstract:Titanium powder is an important raw material for titanium and titanium alloy powder metallurgy, and
dehydrogenation of titanium hydride powder is one of the key steps of the hydrogenation-dehydrogenation process
for manufacturing low-cost titanium powder. Spherical titanium and titanium alloy powders are important raw materials
for manufacturing high-performance complex shaped titanium and titanium alloy parts using additive manufacturing
processes. The two commonly used methods for dehydrogenation of titanium hydride powder are powder
metallurgy method and loose powder method. The common manufacturing processes of spherical titanium and titanium
alloy powders mainly include atomization, plasma spheroidization and laser spheroidization processes.
