Abstract:Bonded NdFeB magnets are widely used in various industries due to their excellent magnetic properties and high coercivity. The characteristics of bonded NdFeB magnets formed by die pressing were studied, and a special fixture for bonded magnet processing was designed. Combined with the special negative pressure powder suction device, the problems of chip burning and chuck blockage affecting the machining accuracy in the trimming process were solved. The reasonable cutting tool material and the best cutting parameters were determined, and a set of stable and reliable turning modification process of bonded NdFeB magnet was obtained. The results show that the process is stable, reliable and efficient, which provides a reference for further research on the modification of bonded NdFeB magnets.
