Abstract Powder metallurgy parts are more and more widely used in the automoible. Powder metallurgy synchronizer gear hub is the difficulty of automobile parts. Production process research of powder metallurgy synchronizer gear hub with high density, high strength and high precision is one of the main research direction in China. The long term production process research shows that advanced production technology is the key to the localization for mass production of powder metallurgy synchronizer gear hub.
