Abstract WO3 nanoparticles used for sensor were prepared by hydrothermal method,and the influence of Au content on the structure and gas sensitivity of WO3 nanoparticles used for sensor was analyzed by XRD,SEM, EDS and other methods.The results show that the WO3 nanoparticles doped with different Au content form the same diffraction peak. When the doping amount of Au increases,the intensity of the diffraction peak on the crystal plane first increases and then decreases.When Au content increases,grain size of WO3 nanoparticles first increases and then decreases.The particle sizes of Au doping WO3 nanoparticles are 2.5-5.0 μm,and the adjacent WO3 nanoparticles contact with each other.The sensitivity of WO3 nanoparticles with different Au content first increases and then decreases when the temperature rises,appropriate Au content could significantly improve the gas sensitivity of WO3 nanoparticles.The sensitivity of Au doping WO3 nanoparticles increases linearly with the gas concentration.
