Abstract The sintered billet of pure molybdenum was prepared by powder metallurgy, and the desired size and
properties were obtained by rolling deformation. Rolling process is very important to the properties of molybdenum
plate. By comparing and analyzing the differences of properties and microstructures between three kinds of
cross rolling and unidirectional rolling, it is found that cross rolling can significantly improve the anisotropy and
the material have excellent comprehensive properties. With the increasing of the temperature, the effect of rolling
process on the properties of molybdenum sheet is obviously weakened. The recrystallization and growth of grains
make the high temperature properties of molybdenum sheet the same.
