Abstract A new type of Ni based MOFs with CP as the ligand, Ni25Co-MOF was designed and synthesized by the
solvothermal method. The microstructure and surface morphology of Ni25Co-MOF were studied by XRD, FTIR,
TGA, N2 adsorption and desorption and SEM. The electrochemical performance of Ni25Co-MOF electrode material
was tested. The results show that the Ni
25Co-MOF product with good crystal structure has been prepared, which
can stably exist in the air at 400 °C. The nitrogen adsorption and desorption isotherm formed is an obvious IV iso‐
therm and the hysteresis type is H3. As the porosity increases, MOFs gain higher capacitance. A continuous struc‐
ture is formed in Ni
25Co-MOF, and a large cavity composed of structural entities is formed in the surface region. Af‐
ter 2 000 charge-discharge treatments, the specific capacitance of Ni25Co-MOF electrode is reduced to 86% of the
initial value, showing excellent cycling stability. In the low frequency band of Nyquist curve, a straight line with a
high slope is formed, and the angle between the curve and the abscissa is more than 45°, showing a strong capaci‐
tive ion migration performance.
