Progress in preparation and modification of nano zero valent iron |

Abstract Nano zero-valent iron(nZVI)has the characteristics of small particle size,large specific surface area,
and strong reducibility. It has good adsorption and reduction effects on heavy metals and organic pollutants,and
shows good environmental remediation capabilities. However,nZVI has the problem of easy oxidation and agglomeration
when using it,which limits its application. This article briefly introduces several commonly used preparation
methods and modification methods of nZVI,and looks forward to the future research directions of nZVI.
