Wear Resistance of WC-12Co Coating Prepared by High Velocity Oxygen Fuel Spraying |

Abstract WC-12Co coating was prepared by high velocity oxygen fuel (HVOF) spraying technology. The coating porosity, micro-hardness and the bonding strength between the substrate and coating were measured by IA32 quantitative analysis software, LM700AT automatic micro-hardness tester and universal testing machine, respectively. In addition, the tribological properties of the coating were tested on MRH-3 high-speed ring-on-block machines. The results show that the coating porosity is 0.33%, the micro-hardness is 1 393 HV, and the coating adhesive strength is higher than 64.4 MPa. With the test load of 800 N, the rotate speed of 1 000 r/min, the friction pair of GCr15, the experimental period of 1 h and the Great Wall CJ-4 15W/40 as lubricating oil, the friction coefficient of the coating remains at 0.099, the weight loss of the coating is 0.001 6 g. The wear mechanism is abrasive wear.
