Abstract Submicron tungsten oxide powder was prepared by reduction-oxidation method. Scanning electron microscope was used to observe the powder morphology, and the particle size distribution was analyzed through laser particle size analyzer. The results show that submicron tungstic oxide powder can be obtained by controlling the reduction-oxidation temperature and holding time.
