Effect of Ni/Cu ratio on the properties and thermal expansion coefficient of 65WNiCu alloy |

Abstract 65WNiCu alloy was selected as the research object. Five different compositions of tungsten nickelcopper alloys with different Ni-Cu ratio were prepared by powder metallurgy. The effects of Ni-Cu ratios on
mechanical properties and linear expansion coefficient of 65WNiCu alloy were studied. The results show that the
Ni-Cu ratio affects the sintering temperature of the alloys. With the increase of Ni-Cu ratio, the mechanical proper‐
ties of the five alloys decreases. The copper content affects the linear expansion coefficient of 65WNiCu alloy.
When the Ni-Cu ratio decreses, the copper content increases and the linear expansion coefficient increases slightly
