Effects of rolling deformation on microstructure and physical properties of Mo-30Cu rolled plate |

Abstract Mo-30cu alloy was prepared by powder metallurgy infiltration method,then warm rolled with different
deformation ratio at 850 ℃ to obtain Mo-30Cu plate. The microstructure of rolled Mo-30Cu plate was observed by
metallurgical microscope. The density, Vickers hardness and tensile strength were measured to investigate the influ‐
ence of different deformation ratio on physical properties of Mo-30Cu alloy. The electrical conductivity was also
measured. The result shows that the tensile strength and the Vickers hardness have increased by 71.8% and 55.7%
respectively, the relative density and electrical conductivity have increased and the elongation has decreased to
2.7% when the rolling deformation ratio is over 80%.
