Study on preparation and mechanical properties of RGO/Cu composites

Abstract:Through the one-step thermal reaction of copper nitrate,thermal glycine and graphene oxide,the RGO/Cu
hybrid powder was successfully synthesized,and the RGO/Cu composites were prepared by discharge plasma sintering
RGO/Cu hybrid powder. The results show that Cu nanoparticles are uniformly distributed in the RGO lamellae. C-O-Cu
covalent bond is formed between RGO and Cu interface in RGO/Cu powder,and it remains in sintered RGO/Cu composites.
Compared with pure Cu,the yield strength and tensile strength of 0.6%RGO/Cu composite increase by 75.8%
and 47.7% respectively,while maintaining good elongation(29%).
