Abstract:The consumption of energy has always been a problem that puzzles people. About 80% of the energy
is non-renewable energy, and among which, fossil fuels play a leading role. Since the industrial revolution, after
years of exploitation, fossil fuels have become less and less. The development of clean energy has received
extensive attention. The sun has become an important energy supply center, for which various types of light-toheat conversion materials have been gradually developed. Among these materials, carbon-based materials are
widely used in solar light-to-heat converters due to their own many advantages such as cheap materials, high
light absorption performance, and thermal stability. So, this paper focuses on the application research and devel‐
opment of carbon-based materials as solar light-to-heat conversion materials.
