Abstract:Aluminum, as the second largest industrial metal after iron and steel, has been widely used. With the
continuous development of aluminum alloy industry, the demand for aluminum alloy additive (iron agent) is increasing,
and so is the usage of reduced iron powder in aluminum alloy additive (iron agent). Using the existing
converter sludge of a steel plantas raw material, through innovative ball milling and reduction process, iron powder
for aluminum alloy additive was prepared. The iron powder product highly meets the requirements of aluminum alloy
additive (iron agent), which provides a good way for the efficient development and utilization of iron and steelsecondary
resources.
