Abstract:According to the situation of 3D printing metal powder materials, the preparation of 304L stainless steel powder used for 3D printing was studied. After changing the atomizing nozzle, it was successfully prepared through gas-atomization. The morphology, particle size distribution and flowability of powder were observed by the scanning electron microscope, laser particle size analyzer and Hall flowmeter, respectively. Results show that the alloy powder with high sphericity degree and narrow particle size distribution is obtained using the double spray nozzle, the average particle size is 40 μm, according with the requirement of 3D printing on metal powder materials.
