Abstract:Mo2C powders were prepared by the method of precursor plus vaccum carbothermal reduction. XRD and FESEM were used to investigate the effects of carbon content, synthesis temperature and holding time on the microstructure and phase composition of synthesized powders. The results show that Mo2C ultrafine powders with particle size of 100-500 nm is prepared when the carbon content is 150% (mass percent) at 1 150 ℃ for 2.0 h.
