Abstract:In order to improve the fatigue strength of Ti- 6Al- 4V parts, the transition fillet and the thread of the parts are worked by rolling strengthening process. However, notch and crack defects appeared on surface after rolling. So the reason for the failure of the transition fillet and the thread surface is analyzed from the technical requirements analysis, the product qualification rate is greatly raised from 86.7% to 96% after the process improvement. Three referential experiences are provided after the process improvement was discussed.
