Abstract:The changes of extrusion force of pure nickel were studied on the basis of Deform. The results show that the extrusion force gradually decreases with the increase of the temperature of the billet; the extrusion speed is lower, the billet temperature is changed by the increase of the extrusion speed, the softening effect of the temperature is greater than work hardening which lead the extrusion force to decrease; with the increase of die cone angle, the extrusion force decreases and then increases, extrusion pressure minimum when die cone angle is 45 degrees; with the increase of the pre heating temperature of the extrusion container, the dropping degree of extrusion force becomes slow, and then tends to be stable. The die cone angle has the biggest influence on the extrusion force, and the influence of the preheating temperature of the extrusion container on the extrusion force is the least.
