Abstract:The influence of precipitation on corrosion behavior of UNS N08028 in 0.5 mol/L NaCl solution was studied. The results showed that after 900 ℃ ageing treatment, short rod and granular σ phase mainly precipitated in the grain boundary, and a small amount of intracrystalline acicular σ phase existed. With the increase of aging time, precipitated phase content in the alloy increased gradually, and the corrosion performance was significantly reduced. So the effective control of the precipitated phase is an important approach to improve the corrosion resistance of alloy.
