Abstract:Pure Sn/C nanofibers with high capacity and good cyclability have been prepared by an electrospinning of a mixture solution of. Sncl2 and PAN, followed by heat-treatment at high temperature. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM), and X-ray diffraction (XRD) analyses demonstrated the morphology and the structure of the Sn/C nanofibers. The synthesis conditions have been optimized to obtain the maximum reversible capacity for the composite electrode. 700℃ is the best heat-treatment temperature and 1:1 is the best ratio to obtain the maximum reversible capacity for the composite electrode. The sample exhibited very good electrochemical property. Even after 20 cycles, the capacity remained 745.9mAhg?1, which is 97.8 % of the capacity in the second cycle.
