Abstract:The thermal conductive material (TCM) in composite phase change material (PCM) was studied, and four kinds of heat storage devices as samples to review the effects of TCM on the performance of heat storage devices were designed. The samples materials include copper and carbon foam, the thermal conductivity between TCM and metal shell covers welding and pressure contact, and the copper foam has two specifications, i. e. the high porosity and the low one. The effects of each element on the performance of heat storage device can be compared by means of experiments. Tests show that thermal conductivity and temperature control capability of carbon foam are better than those of copper foam, and the temperature control capability of welding is much better than that of pressure contact, and porosity of copper foam has less effect on the performance of heat storage devices.
