Abstract:The serious environmental pollution problems are resulted from the diesel exhaust gas with the properties of unorganized and mobile emissions as well as difficulty in treatments, and the pollution substances include carbon monoxide (CO), carbohydrates (CxHy), nitrogen oxide (NOx) and particulate matter (PM) are the most important pollutants in diesel vehicle exhaust. Therefore, the elimination of these four pollutants has become the key to meet the emission standards of diesel vehicle. This review article introduces the treatment technology of single pollutant and the integrated control technology on simultaneous elimination of multiple pollutants. Thus, a feasible combination of advantages of exhaust gas post-treatment system is proposed for the implementation of the China VI standards in 2020.
