Abstract：For a relatively weak field of welded steel pressure vessel, such as the thick-walled pressure vessels, holds corrosive medium pressure vessels and stainless steel clad plate pressure vessel, the new welding technology of steel pressure vessels were introduced, including narrow gap multi wire submerged arc welding, laser-arc hybrid heat source, strip electrode electroslag surfacing, flux-cored wire CO2 gas shielded arc welding, pulsed TIG welding. The new welding technology in pressure vessel welding applications, and the development of future conduct were analyzed.
