Abstract:In order to investigate the strengthening mechanism of nanophase composite coatings prepared by
laser cladding, a review of the research progress of laser cladding nanophase-enhanced coating properties at
home and abroad was conducted. This paper focuses on the strengthening mechanism of nanophase laser clad‐
ding composite coatings under three different preparation methods: externally added nanophase, nanophase en‐
capsulation and in situ synthesized nanophase, analyzes the strengthening mechanism of nanophase coatings un‐
der different preparation methods, summarizes and looks forward to the development and application of nano‐
phase-enhanced laser cladding composite coating technology. The research results provide a theoretical basis for
the preparation of nanophase enhanced coatings by laser melting cladding.
