Abstract:The metal net have the effection of reflecting and absorpting electromagnetic wave, but the single metal net is difficult to have a wide range of applications in various fields. The plywood combine of the metal net and wood with different forms were stidied, then test the shielding efficiency in the range of 10 MHz~1 GHz. The results show that Stainless steel’s shielding effectiveness is 6 dB higher than brass, double layers’ shielding effectiveness is higher than single layer mesh, 178 μm or more of stainless steel and brass mesh can achieve the requirement of U. S. Federal Communications Commission’s shielding effectiveness.
