Abstract：The effects of rare earth in steel and its influencing factors were introduced in this article, the research history and achievements in seamless tube with rare earth in recent years were also introduced. The applications of typical casing for thickened oil hot well, H2S corrosion resistant steel for OCTG and high strength structural pipe were analyzed, and the research directions of Baotou Steel seamless tube with rare earth were discussed.
