Abstract:The melt-spinning technique was applied to preparation of the powders with nominal compositions of Nd31FebalCo6. 0Ga0. 6Al0. 2B0. 9(mass fraction). After mechanical disruption,the powders were compacted and isotropic magnets were obtained by hot pressing. Then, high-performance permanent magnetic radially orientated ring were prepared by hot deformed method. The effects of temperature and deformation ratio on properties of magnets were studied. Microstructure of the magnets was observed by SEM. It was found that the magnetic properties increased firstly and decreased later with increasing of temperature and deformation ratio, which associated with the size and orientation of grains. High performance were obtained when deformation ration was 80% at 800 ℃, and the high alignment can be obtained. In addition, the surface magnetic field of the magnetic ring was approximately sinusoidal distribution with a peak value of 3200 Gs, which is homogenously and uniformly.
