Abstract:The structural integrity and reliability of lead - based reactors are the basis of safe operation in service. The service environment of structural materials is very fragile, and is subject to the comprehensive action of fast neutron irradiation, high temperature liquid metal decay candle, erosion and stress, etc. Therefore, the performance requirements of materials are very high.T91 steel has good thermal conductivity, low expansion coefficient and good radiation resistance, and has been considered as the preferred structural material for the development of nuclear power technology. This paper reviews the research status of liquid compatibility of T91 steel in lead-bismuth alloy, summarizes the progress of corrosion resistance and post-corrosion embrittlement , and gives the development trend of T91 steel in the future .
