Abstract:A novel nickel, phosphate and graphite recovery way was designed by forming graphene oxide/NiAl layered double hydroxides (GO/NiAl-LDHs) from the spent electroless nickel plating baths and graphite anode of spent lithium-ion batteries. The as-obtained materials were examined by X-ray diffraction, field emission scanning electron microscope techniques, and electrochemistry techniques. The results revealed that NiAl-LDH platelets homogeneously developed on the surfaces of the GO as spacers to disperse the wrinkled GO nanosheets and emerge in special microporous structure. The GO/NiAl-LDHs exhibited a maximum specific capacitance of 1 184.3 F/g and excellently electrochemical stability with 98.3% keep after 200 cycles at current density of 1.0 A/g.
