Abstract:A group of particles in the laboratory were screened, and Rosin-Rammler distribution function was used to fit the cumulative particle size distribution. The calculated results were in good agreement with the actual particle size distribution. The calculate median diameter and propagation coefficient were substituted into fluent for numerical simulation, and that particle distribution with different particle diameters obtained are in good agreement with experimental data, thus illustrating the reliability of the particle distribution simulation. By calculating the classification efficiency, it can be concluded that the dust collector has a higher efficiency in capturing particles above 5 , which is in good agreement with the experiment. At the same time, the conclusion provides a reference for the numerical simulation of cyclone dust collector with different particle sizes.
