Abstract:FeSiAl alloy powder is one of the ideal candidates for microwave absorbing materials due to its high
permeability, high saturation magnetization and low cost. This article summarizes the characteristics of FeSiAl alloy
powder, and expounds the influence of microstructure control and composition optimization on the electromagnetic
properties. In view of the high permittivity of the flake FeSiAl alloy powder, the regulation mechanism of microwave
absorption performance is discussed mainly by technical means such as surface coating, micro-oxidation,
and compounding technique. Finally, the future research direction of FeSiAl powder is prospected
